* the interior light-weight whereas the unit is running is not too bright and the light-weight turns off when the door is opened. Not an enormous deal, but alittle odd. it might be nicer if the light remained on when the door is opened.
* This model runs a fair bit louder than our prior model, but hey, we’ve 200 a lot of watts now!

I watch lots of flicks tc-p46x3 Price and stream my Netflix on to it. Once in awhile i would like to show the sound almost all the way up, but mostly it is fine. (I do have a handicap in my hearing as I actually have a nerve deafness in my ears and it makes me terribly laborious of hearing, so this may be the problem & not the TV in the least.) Some day i will get a sound bar or further attachment to boost the sound system but within the meantime i’m perfectly pleased with this product and Amazon’s service.

panasonic tc-p46s30. This TV is amazing to watch. The black levels are superb. At first I was hesitant to purchase a Plasma because if you view one of these at your local Best Buy you would think they were overly dark shaded and not nearly as vibrant as the LCD panels. Turns out it is just the overly bright LCD’s that make it look that way. Get it home and view it in a standard living room setting and it’s perfect. Crystal clear picture, no blur on fast moving pictures, and superb black levels. This model in particular also does a nice job of combating the typical glare issues normally found on Plasmas. I upgrade from an old 2004 Sony Widescreen Projection TV and this surpasses it in glare control so I was definitely pleased. Thought about getting the next level 3D model, but I would have to say that while 3D is a neat little gadget, if you do not have an extremely large screen or sit 5 feet from the TV the effect doesn’t work well enough to make it worth it. The only knock I would give this TV is that it does not have a VGA port. The Viera tools is kind of week too. There is Netflix and a couple of other apps, but my hopes of this replacing my ROKU player isn’t going to happen. There are no Amazon or Pandora apps.

tc-p42st30 price. I knew I wanted plasma, so it was just a matter of longing for the simplest specs at the simplest worth. This model was compelling on both counts and has exceeded my expectations. 3D wasn’t on my must-have list, however I got a free Avatar disc with the Panasonic Blu-ray player, so I bought a combine of generic (Sain store) glasses and therefore the viewing is superb, indeed. My biggest thrill has been streaming Netflix; though initially (in June) i was obtaining audio static, Panasonic support knew about the problem and updated the firmware soon after; currently the streaming image and sound are great. i have not noticed any of the ‘fluctuating brightness’ noted in another review. i’ve been using the DLNA to access MP3 and photo files with one issue, managing the folders to get the play order that i want. In all different ways in which, I’m happy.
