ASUS A53SV-XE1 I purchased this laptop summer time before I came to be able to college, & I absolutely love that! I have only purchased 3 computers during the past, & they were all Asus versions. The first one has been an F5V (My partner and i don’ t think this was sold in the states), & then a 1001PX-MU27 that i now use for spiel note taking, & lastly this one. All of them are actually excellent, reliable, reasonably priced machines that offer good price to effectiveness ratio. There is absolutely NO reason why anybody who isn’ t involved in specialized video editing or uses Mac only applications should purchase a $1300 Macbook to have similar specs & performance.
When I has been buying this computer, I was deciding between this one & this: [.. ], since there was a Microsoft promotion during the time for a free xbox 4gb providing you could provide a. edu email address, but only applied on the other Asus computer. The extra hundred us dollars & the lack of a good xbox hurt initially, but I am definitely satisfied with my purchase. The only downside to this particular computer is that right now there isn’ t a USB 3. 0 port, but that’ s nothing too serious in my opinion.
Oh, & a word of guidance: When you mail with your warranty card for your one year accident comprehensive warranty, don’ t use the address around the card. Go on their web page & obtain the address you ought to mail it to by there. I used the address listed around the card, & my warranty card was returned by the postal service. Apparently, they don’ t receive regular mail there.
