Had this product for about 6 months and was working fine. Moved most of my important documents to the drive. Then about this morning I had an electric failuer, and the actual drive wouldn’t come support. It’s stuck in the “boot-up” mode.

Contacted Traditional western Digital, and while they may be more than very happy to replace the actual drive (gee many thanks!), I will have to take the actual drive to an unofficial to have most of my info removed, which will probably end upward costing me a lot more than the drive cost to begin with.

Now i’m really taking pleasure in my K-5. As much as i loved my own K-7, I sensed it lacked somewhat in reduced light shooting. Still, I contemplated not upgrading as i liked almost everything from the actual K-7 except for a couple things. Well, after purchasing the K-5, I’m actually glad We went forward and do so.
I’ve noticed several people reviewing the actual K-5 mention it is a K-7 along with different guts, but We somewhat differ. It can feel different. I imply, being familiar with the 7 makes handling the actual 5 a snap, but ergonomically, the body feels a lot more compact (if that is even achievable), which I like. My pinky hangs over the grip as a result of the neat and tidy handle design, but We quickly got utilized to it.

The new Sony sensor really exhibits its capabilities on this camera. DP Review said the actual K-5 is probably the best APS-C digital cameras currently in the marketplace, and I have no reason to argument that statement. While the actual K-7′s photo making was good, the K-5 is great. Not only could be the low light performance a noticable difference, but you can find subtleties in just about any phase that accumulate into making the K-5 an important upgrade over the K-7. And don’t misunderstand me. I nonetheless think the actual K-7 is a good camera. It’s simply the K-5 is way better. Much much better.

Excellent camera, very strong build as well as weather resistant. Good ergonomics fit my palm nicely, good option layout an easy task to reach whenever shooting. Image quality is great, I’ve experienced it for about a month, shot a wedding last week with it. Was very pleased with the product quality and color of the images. Very great in low light situations with out flash. Did some test pictures at ISO 3200, they seem like shot My partner and i them at ISO 400 almost no noise.

Additionally, can’t find anyone to complain to be able to at Acer, so that’s why you’re getting the rant here. (We even requested the technical support person who I really could complain to be able to and he said no-one.)

Am tempted to give it 1 star in order to be pissy, but We hate whenever people do that. So a few stars as the processor can be a bit sluggish (We upgraded to be able to 4 gigs of RAM, but it really is still sluggish at certain things, which I do believe is mostly the processor holding it back.) and because they forgot what makes PCs great. (because it sure because hell just isn’t the wonderful sight of a BSOD.)

Oh, also, I acquired this netbook for approximately a day and a half when it first arrived as well as the hard drive failed. Wouldn’t appear in BIOS. Was really impressed through their automated phone assistance system even though. (What is this? I need not repeat all the info We gave to your automated system to your tech assistance guy? Why… but which is *reasonable*!) And it actually came back fixed. (only had it about a week because the repair, nothing damaged yet.)
