We’ve had this microwave for a few month currently, and to this point we tend to are very happy with it. Yes, it is louder than our old Panasonic, but that’s a minor issue. we tend to do miss having a handle, and it’d are nice if the sunshine would continue when the door is opened, but those are minor issues. at first i assumed i might not just like the dial and may need preferred the old keypad, but i am not missing the keypad. I do just like the bright show. So far, so good, and that i do recommend this model. This unit is loaded with a spread of options and settings. some of which can not be familiar to all users. Fortunately Panasonic provides a fairly easy users guide that does a good job explaining the assorted options and their functions.
Wireless users be aware, this microwave, located in regarding the center of our 600 sq ft first floor, decimates the wi-fi signal for the complete floor when running. Music, movies, downloads, something that requires a wireless signal stops shortly after we start using the microwave. Changing router locations (located on the 2nd floor) did not facilitate whatsoever. Not a deal breaker, but those whose smoke/CO2 detectors are interconnected via wi-fi ought to most likely create note of this. i’d guess this can be a possible downside for many microwaves, therefore I won’t knock Panasonic for this.
Unfortunately this microwave does not have the best alert/reminder system. It beeps five times after finishing its cycle. That’s it. i have never noticed it providing any follow up warning of completion beyond that. Our previous unit had a steady, 4 second beep and would beep each couple of minutes thereafter until it absolutely was opened. a far better system in my opinion.
